Hello guys im buying a PC soon and since i wanted to minimize the cost of some components will it be ok if i pair my CPU and GPU with this MOBO ( GIGABYTE GA-970A-DS3P ) if not i have an option for 35$ more to go for this MOBO ( Gigabyte GA-990XA-UD3 R5 )

PC Specs planned ; AMD FX 8350 ( i dont plan on OCing it ) , 16GB of DDR3 1866MHz RAM , 1TB of HDD + 240GB of SSD , STRIX RX 480

now i know those 35$ are change for some people but here it would take me 4 days of hard work to get that much and that money plus with some outher cuts i made will go into funds for my IPS monitor instead of the one that i curentlly have planned ( simple FULL HD LED monitor )

okay so i dont want the i5 because i have a deal with a friend ( when zen releases i will buy that and this CPU is going to my friend and im sick of intel and nvidia since my last 3 builds were Intel+Nvidia )
I live in Serbia im 19 years old and i have a simple part time job
i dont have any parts yet im deciding on some things but the CPU , RAM , GPU are a must everything else is changeable

if i was to chose i would go for the 990 and try to borrow money from a friend for an IPS monitor but if i dont have to buy the 990 why should i do it

If you want/need to stick with AMD then go for the more expensive motherboard, it is a better all round part.

I'll pick up on the post by n0ns3ns3: Consider the costings carefully, 16 Gb of RAM is a luxury unless you're using the system for memory intensive tasks and the SSD is a very, very nice touch, but you can always add one later. Ff you drop down to 8Gb of RAM and drop the SSD. could you go for an i5? Even an i3 will beat the FX in many real world tasks and would leave the system open to a further CPU upgrade later if you need it.

And no, I'm not trying to bankrupt you, just trying to get the best value from your obviously very hard earned money.

the SSD is a gift i should have mentioned that so im getting it for free ( the guy that im buying my PC from is giving it for free to me since i passed 1400$ mark for my previous purchases with him since my friends used my account to buy thier PCs ) the 16GB is me future proofing my rig somehow since i saw some games use more then 8GB of RAM plus i want to have some background processes active ( RAM eater aka chrome xD )
As for the FX i explained to in a previous post i why i want it
