Broken fin on graphics card fan, vibrating LOUD1

Hey I have a 2 fan graphics card. I was cleaning it and I broke one of the fins off. At idle it's really quiet under 30c I have no complains. When in gaming it goes up to 40c (really good temps) but my whole case is vibrating and it's really loud and annoying.

Will breaking the fin on the opposite side of that fan reduce the noise?

You can create a PayPal account with your credit card as the debit source. You can also use your bank account, though that is a little more complicated and you have to wait a few days as they make two small deposits in your account to use as verification.
I wouldn't do that, no. Is there any chance you still have warranty on the card? I had a fan go on my XFX 7950 DD graphics card and when I contacted XFX, they sent me the fan and a link to the instructions on how to replace it. Of course I didn't break the fan blade, the bearing was going.

The other option is if the fan has it's own connection to the card, you could alway unplug the fan for the PCB.

Count the number of fins including the broken one. If it is odd, then the "opposite" fin is not exactly opposite and you will still get significant vibrations at higher speeds. To make things worse, fans often have a prime number of fins, which means you cannot balance the fan by breaking any additional number of fins.

The reason why most fans have prime blade counts might be that never having exactly opposite blades makes it easier to balance the fan as a whole.

I got the card from someone else and I don't know if it has the warranty. Whatever, I already opened the card to replace the thermal paste and broke the VOID IF REMOVED sticker

Just check ebay for a replacement fan. There are a lot of replacement parts online. You will have to disassemble the fan shroud to replace it but it's not overly difficult.

In my experience breaking things more to try and fix them doesn't work well. You'd be better off calling the company and asking if you can get a new fan somehow. If you really can't get a new fan you could maybe try to disable the broken fan then run some tests to make sure it doesn't overheat. If you get ok temps and adequate preformance I don't see a reason you need two fans.

I can't disable the fan(s) so the only thing left to do is unplug it from the card itself.
BRB going to do that and check temps

Model number of the fan:

pld08010d12hh

Could only find 1 on ebay. My card has 2. They are both connected by the same wire, no adapters on anything.

Could I buy 2 of them and just plug them in? They seem to have 2 pin connector and my card has 4 pin connector

Tried ordering with 2 different CC's but gave an error

"1.We accept PayPal only.
2.All major credit cards are accepted through secure payment processor PayPal. "

Hmm..... but I don't have money on PayPal

This is a whole different problem, but for now I'll act like my question has been answered.\\
