Sorry, I'm really new to building PC's. This will be my first PC build ever and I just wanted to make sure that all the parts I'm buying are compatible. I saw online that one was ATX and the other was Micro ATX so I just wanted to double check that was fine.

now fit maybe a thing to look at like I use a mid tower case but I had to move my hard drive up to fit this 980ti in it cleard the cage but I cant use a hard drive in its lower slots / bays

little things like that can hamper you some ?? so if you had a matx board in a small case you could run into themissues

I'm sorry, I get you're new at building but any amateur should know that when talking about a motherboard and GPU the ATX or mATX form factor of the card shouldn't matter at all. The only thing you need to concern yourself with is: Is that GPU going to fit in the case you're working with?
