So recently installed a new hard drive into my Dell Optiplex 980 after that I installed Windows when I got on I noticed that I wasn't able to connect to the internet it said that there were no connections available even though there are so I did some research and I found that I need to install my drivers and so I did installed the network driver for the Dell Optiplex 980 and it still hasn't worked I tried countless and different ways to try to fix this problem and it still won't work I've downloaded driver programs to fix the drivers and many other things and still have no idea how to fix it I've called Dell twice they said the same thing: to download the drivers off their support website. please help thank you

I would not go getting drivers all over the Internet -- Dell has the wireless driver that you need:

Dell Wireless 1505/1520 Draft 802.11n WLAN Mini Card, 1510 Half Mini Card Application HERE under the network driver group.

There are also three network drivers that are for the wired Ethernet connector.

Also insure that you have already installed the Intel chipset driver, which you can get there at Dell or from Intel.
