Hey guys, so i just upgraded my mobo and cpu and am having problems getting the pc to POST. The Mem OK light is on solid, which leads me to think that this is a problem with the RAM or the DIMM slots on the motherboard. Ive tried pressing the Mem OK button, but to no avail.
Specs are:
Cpu: Intel i7 6700k
Mobo: Asus Z170-AR
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX CMK16GX4M2B3200C16 16GB (2x 8GB pack) 3200Mhz
GPU: Asus Strix Gtx 1070
PSU: Thermaltake TR2 600W
Everything is plugged in where it needs to be. All the lights on the mobo and gpu come on, all my fans work. and i have tried every RAM slot combination imaginable. I even tried a hard reboot and removed the mobo battery. It just refuses to boot.
