Any Reason To Get an Xbox One if I have a Gaming PC?

I have a good gaming PC but I noticed I could get an Xbox One for just $169.74 refurbished and I can get Xbox One used games very cheap from ebay and the pawn shop. I'd kind of like to have a console for those games that only come out on console that I can't get on PC but are there enough console only games to justify the purchase? I'm getting a Nintendo NX in March. It'll have exclusives I want. Like Mario, Mario kart, Smash Bros, Zelda... Games like that. That's why it's a must own for me.

For me if I just wanted to play games I would of bought a console.
But there are many other things that you can do with a Pc other than just playing games.

When it comes to the games them self it`s a well known fact that graphics wise with a good pc system and one of the latest range of graphics cards the game are visually more superior.

Both the Xbox one and the Play station 4 as a matter of fact in relation to the graphics processor they use the Gpu.

In fact use what used to be on the Pc the Ati line of 7870 Gpu`s that have been slightly tweaked and optimised for both consoles.

The 7870 line of Ati graphics card were released for the pc were introduced in 2011.
That goes to show that there is a large gap between the current...

Plenty of Xbox One games are coming to PC soon. If you said PS4 I would say It's probably worth it, for those exclusives. However games like Forza Motorsport/Horizon, Gears of War are coming to PC. Unless you have loads of friends on Xbox One, It's not worth it.

A console is great if you frequently game at other peoples housed and your own which i do, in a social gamer and bringing my xbox and monitor is much easier than my entire pc. Its also great for watching Netflix and YouTube one while lying down using the controller.

Idk if it's worth it though, you will probably be disappointed with halo 5 and other than that there aren't many exclusives worth buying a xbox for.

Its a great thing to have for convenience though if you're a pc gamer.

I guess the other thing is the price of games for consoles vs the price of a game for pc gaming, often you pay less for a pc version of the same game that you can purchase for your console.

And for me that is a major factor. Plus the games catalogue for pc games is in fact larger vs console games.

When it comes to PC`s and you talking about waiting for the new Nintendo NX console.
For Game cube games, and wii games I run and play them both through an emulator on the pc.

And if I had to be honest the Wii and Game cube emulator do a far better job when playing the games.
You can improve the graphics quality of most wii games so it looks a lot better visually and at higher screen resolutions than the physical console could produce, all running at full speed.

And you can also play play station 2 games on a pc via an emulator.

So to be honest a PC offers a better gaming platform if you also enjoy playing old console games on the PS2 or Wii.

With Microsoft bringing a lot of their exclusive games to PC on the Windows Store, there is little reason to pick up an Xbox One if you have a gaming PC unless you absolutely refuse to use Windows 10 for whatever reason. About the only reason to get an Xbox One would be if you're a huge Halo fan or you have lots of friends who play on Xbox One. In terms of games that aren't coming to PC, the Playstation 4 and the Wii U have better selections in that regard.
