I was curious if this mid-2009 Macbook Pro was worth the price of $275. I don't want to get a Windows Laptop and I don't want to break the bank on a Macbook. I need something that will last me about 2 years or so and won't get slow. I am mainly using this for web browsing and simple tawsk. Would it handle that well for 2 years? I need a Macbook for under or for $350. Thanks http://dayton.craigslist.org/sys/5774507069.html

Solution
2009 Macs are NOT SUPPORTED BY NEW OSES! You must get something from 2011 or risk software incompatibility when siera comes out!

Also, $275 is a total ripoff for something that old, it's not even worth $100!

$275 is not out of line for that year for a 13", but it all depends on condition.
I use a 2009 with El Capitan and it runs fine for general use as you describe. You can also upgrade it with a SSD and make it really fast.
