Installed new graphics card. Won'the work, so I took the new graphics card out, plugged my VGA cable into the on-board graphics to use the on-board graphics instead. Still no signal on my screen, my screen is black... which means I can't update bios etc, can't do anything on my computer.

Posting this from my phone.

If anyone can help via a phone call I can provide my number.

- Windows 8.
- Computer = Asus.
- Processor = Intel Celeron G3240.
- Integrated graphics.
- New graphics card = Radon HD 5450

You need to go into bios and disable the onboard video card first on your mobo . so it looks for the card in slot otherwise it wont give video out to your video card and also make u have power connected to card

Hmmm did you check if your PSU is good enough to power the GPU?
Probably it isnt the problem but just check to be sure.
So there is just a black screen? No messages.
Once when i installed my new GPU my PC kept going in rest mode until i realised that i need a better PSU

disable the onboard by booting up pc without the card in computer then boot with video cable connected to onboard card . disable that one in bios save it and quit . Unplug computer install card in pci express slot. plug your hdmi cables into card boot
