Does File History constantly backup everything, or CHANGED files

I just got a WD 2tb drive and I'm using File History to backup a good 600-700gb of data.
My question is: does Windows try to repeatedly backup all the files or only the files that have been changed since the last backup?

Hey there, @69ingChipmunkzz!

It really depends on the backup settings you have configured when using File History. You can check this through the Advanced Settings and also re-configure how often previous versions are saved. You can also use the Clean Up option which will allow you to erase all older versions of the backed up files, in case they are taking up too much space on your WD External hard drive.
Here's an article from our knowledge base that you might find useful as well.

Hope it helped you! Good luck! :)
