fps drops in rocket league (please help)

parts: Athlon 860k 3.7
8gb 1600mhz ram
gtx 960 4gb

so I have been getting fps drops in rocket league ever since I started playing it again. (i have started playing for around a month now). before i started playing again I had stopped playing for around 2-3 months and was getting 100+ fps on max settings. now I get fps drops to the 50s and I have no idea what to do. please help.

My best bet would be that your system might be overheating. Maybe try clean out the system and reseat the CPU cooler.
I'd like to see some temps while you're playing. You can use HWmonitor for this (If didn't know about it already ;))

so before I played rocket league I went on speed fan and put every single fan (including my CPU fan) to 100%. I did not get any fps drops so the heating must have been the issue. I get around 90-100+ fps again. thanks
