hi everyony ,

I want to buy gigabyte gtx 660 2gb oc and i know , it requires at least 450w with 24A .

Is my power supply +12v with 20A enough to run gigabyte gtx 660 2gb oc without any problems such as 24A ?

thanks in advance

No. BFG went bankrupt in 2010. It's that old. That 450w psu has 32w on its 12v rails at best. Pushing a 660 through that old circuitry is a recipe for disaster as caps degrade over time/usage. You'd be lucky to see 350w out of that unit today. Don't do it.

Technically, the specs are enough, just, but realistically that unit is a time bomb. It'll run a 660 just fine, on specs, but with its age and the fact it wasn't a great unit to start with, its just a matter of time before it blows.

500w and just a single 12v 20A rail? Ouch. That's very sub-standard. My 520w has 40A and it's at least a 6 year old design. It powers an OC 3570k and an OC 660ti with ease. You might want to give serious thought into replacing your psu before something happens and you end up replacing other parts too.
