So recently I finished constructing my new desktop pc, and I have been working on installing windows 7 onto the system. I have downloaded a clean version of the Win7 Ultimate with Service Pack 1 iso from http://mirror.corenoc.de/, and I have set up a usb drive as my installation device using Rufus. When I attempt to install Win7, I receive a load driver error that reads

A requested CD/DVD drive device driver is missing. If you have a driver floppy disk, CD, DVD, or USB flash drive, please insert it now.

Note; If the Windows installation media is in the CD/DVD drive, you can safely remove it for this step.

Now, since my computer is a custom build I am assuming that the drivers need are those located on the divers CD for my motherboard, and that the drivers are not located on the install usb. This is an issue because I do not have an optical drive installed in my build. My question is, how can I get those drivers onto a usb so I can install them and move forward with my PC setup? Additionally, would I be better off just buying a usb optical drive and installing the drivers that way (presuming that such a setup would work)?

Yes, but it didn't work. I did some browsing though and found out that there was a tool on a forum for my mother board that patches software for the Win7 installation software that allows you to inject the driver software into the installation directory so the installer can find the drivers needed.
