Does the i5 4460 3,2Ghz come with Thermal Paste applied to it / in the box ?

So I'm thinking about building myself a new computer and I had some concerns about the CPU (Since it's my first time and I'm paranoid) The main issue though is if it comes with Thermal Paste already applied and how it should look if it does. The i5 4460 3,2Ghz that is.

The thermal paste will only come with the CPU fan IF it has one.

Otherwise, you'll need to buy thermal paste, and I recommend you buy a CPU cooler as well.

I think that motherboard works. But to do a full compatibility check, you should use this site ; http://pcpartpicker.com/

Also, are you sure you want to go with an outdated CPU generation? There are newer, higher performing CPU's out now from Intel and soon AMD too. Unless you're buying the 4460 for budget reasons I'd go with a new one.

This is a 4690 heatsink , but it comes pre-applied just like this.
