Ok, so I'm in a bit of a pickle people. I just got my new hardware for a fresh, brand new, complete computer and I keep getting a black screen with no mouse after my first display driver install. I've installed Windows 3 times with the same results all 3 times. First time I installed windows with the ethernet cord in. Went through the install and let the computer download and install the basic Microsoft display driver and then I restarted. Got a black screen no mouse after the post, lights are on and fans are blowing just no signal to my monitor. Tried some things in safe mode, yes monitor worked in safe mode, and everything I did in safe mode didn't work. So, I reinstalled windows, still with the ethernet cord in, but this time, before I restarted, I downloaded GeForce experience and installed latest drivers, also got some gigabyte drivers too. Ok, so I restarted and it did the same thing, PC powers on but no signal. Now I'm getting really frustrated. So for the third time, I reinstalled windows. This time, I disconnected the ethernet cord and installed the LG monitor drivers, Gigabyte drivers, and Zotac drivers via CD's. Everything was going good until the Zotac CD installed most of the Geforce drivers then my display shuts off and tells me I don't have a signal. Didn't even have to restart this time. So after all that, I am on here asking for help now. Through all of that I have been using a HDMI cord, tried VGA to motherboard connection and that didn't work either. Also, I am using Windows 10 64-bit Education Edition, because I go to college and can get windows for free. I tried using the Windows Media Creation Tool and it said it doesn't support my version of Windows. I need help really bad people, I just spent A ton of money on this PC. This is my build>

I figured it out. The problem was the monitor. Put the HDMI cord into my tv and it worked so I just drove to my local walmart at 5am in the morning but hey at least I got this all figured out.

I already did exactly what you just said except I didn't remove the GPU. I 'll do that right now.

Ok, I haven't done what you said to do yet but I do have an update. If I put the VGA into the motherboard while the GPU is still in there is still no signal but if I take the GPU out and use the VGA in the motherboard it works. Definitely think this is a driver issue. I'm about to do what you just said, but something crossed my mind. Could this issue be caused by a outdated UEFI BIOS? Just a thought.

I did and the person tried to lay blame on Nvidia drivers lol. I called Nvidia also and the person I talked to said that people weren't having this issue until they installed windows 10 version 1607.
