Hi,

So i burned my Corsair CX750M trying to overclock my CPU. My cpu has 3.8ghz with turbo boost however i wanted more and i tried to get it to 4.3ghz, but it couldnt handle it (the pc shutting of by it self and stuff) so i got it back to 3.8ghz... after that, the first days i smelled a weird burning-like smell comming out from the PC but i didnt think it was really important, because the temperature on my cpu and gpu was fine, however today i was playing and the smell started to be stronger, so i got worried and opened the case, i identified that the smell was comming out from the power supply and while i was doing that the pc just did shut down.

I would like to know if some other components from my computer could be damaged from that incident, and if i can fix a burned PW or if i have to buy a new one. Thanks for you help guys, everything will be appreciated & sorry for my bad english.

Doubt it damaged anything, but I'd advise you to disconnect it from the wall immediately and get a new unit whenever you can. A Seasonic S12II or XFX TS would do well.
