GTX 1060 temperature issue.

Hey guys, I had been using a 1060 quite well up until yesterday where I think this is kind of harmful for the card. I closed the game and since then my GPU usage has been 6% and fan speed stays at 26% with the temperature being 51 degrees. Before this at idle, and my fan not running, I had 47-48 degrees and if I set the fan to 30 percent, it would drop to 39-40 degrees.

I don't know what's going on but could anyone please help me out?

What's your ambient temp? I have the exact same card at 40-50C idle (fans off since Firestorm is set to automatic). I think it's normal.

The only problem should be when you're on full load and get very high temps: 85C+

Btw, my ambient temp is at 30C (i know it's hot here)
