I am looking for a budget card, especially a card that could perform well on actual games and next years. So I've looked on some benchmarks over youtube, and I see both have (almost) the same FPS in most titles.

Some friends suggests me to go over 750 ti, because they consider 'outperforms the RX' and others says to go with 460 because it has DX 12 thus I don't need to change the GPU for next years

So overall, which one should I consider and why ?

Reviews show the RX 460 is considerably faster than the GTX 750 Ti, it's comparable to the GTX 950. The 460 also has newer features overall, and performance gets even better when games support DirectX 12 or Vulkan. So if they're priced similarly, the RX 460 is easily the better choice.

lol can you link that you tube video? btw RX460 is faster than 750Ti. in general RX460 competes more with GTX950. don't really mind about DX12 (GTX750ti also capable of running DX12). at the moment DX12 is pretty much mixed in the bag. you can check review here:

techreport even included DX11 vs DX12 comparison:

Actually, that would depend on your CPU. If you have a strong CPU, then you would get more performance per dollar on the RX 460. However, if you have a weak CPU like a Celeron, then the GTX 750 Ti would perform better since the GTX 750 Ti has a lower overhead on the CPU as compared to the RX 460. That's why you would notice that some benchmarks show that the GTX 750 Ti outperforms the RX 460. The main reason is CPU

You've made a very good point there! I'm currently deciding between the two GPU's and my old system has an APU of A10-5800K, I been using the integrated GPU for years and now decided to have a little upgrade, do you reckon I'm better off with the 750 ti? I find that on eBay the second-hand 750 ti's are generally 20~30% cheaper than the Rx 460's (understandable as it is older). Do you think my APU will compliment the 750 ti more so than the Rx 460? Thanks for your help!
