Pc boots up but my case fans don't work

So i have a NZXT H440 case and the Z97S SLI Krait Edition motherboard Everything works but the case fans don't work i had Some trouble with the 24 pin connector i Needded alot of force and its still not in like 2 more millimeters before it clicks Idk if its the 24 pin or the fans are in the wrong slot

First of all the 24pin connector should go in all the way.

Second,for the fans,did you connect the fan hub at the backside of the motherboard tray to a header on the motherboard? Look into the manual for directions.
