if it's a Palit Gamerock or JetStream, go for it
if it's the "regular" Palit 1070 (black) then there might be better models available as the cooling is not as good
generally it's not about the brand but the series. the Palit Gamerock is one of the best 1070 designs out there in terms of cooling/noise
in terms of speed they all perform almost the same
70pounds is most certainly not worth it unless money doesn't matter anyway
