Hi all,
Yesterday I upgraded my cpu from amd to Intel skylark i7-6700, motherboard Assus Repblic of gamers Aplha hero VIII, ram DDR4 16gb and cpu cooler CoolMaster nepton 120 XL.

This was the first time I installed a water cooler. I did mess up and put one fan outside the case and the other on the inside.

I put both on inside and reduced the temp but after running her with just a few basic programs she is still running at 50 degress.. When I start more intensive applications she jumpts straight to 70.

I only had a stock fan cooler that ran at constant 60degrees.

The fans for the cooler go either side of the radiator at the moment they are both pushing the air from the inside of the case to the outside as an exhaust fan.

Do I need to turn all my fans the other round and have air coming in from the back?

And would applying to much thermal paste cause an issue as I may have added a bit to much.

Solution
should for example turn screw 1 few times, turn screw 3 few times turn screw 2 few times, turn screw 4 few times

keep doing that till it wont go any further--and it should mount flat that way
