I recently got a new computer with an NVIDIA GTX 960M 2MB of dedicated ram.

This is the computer that I bought exactly.

When I play games like League of Legends, AC4 Black Flag, Crysis, etc. the game will suddenly freeze every now and then for a quick second, and then it will recontinue. I downloaded MSI afterburner and I noticed that every time it did this, the temperature count would go to 0, as if the graphics card wasn't even there.

It's not too big of an issue, but it's still pretty annoying. I even defragged my hard drive, and I doubt that it's an overheating issue.

Can someone please help?

As stated above update bios but have you updated the video drivers using nvidia website or are you letting windows install the driver? Also if you have been using Nvidia website have you been doing clean install for the drivers?
