I just need to know whether I will be able to connect these fans (linked below) to the PSU directly or would I need molex adaptors. My motherboard (Gigabyte Z87-HD3) has only 3 4-pin fan connectors

and also how many fans I will be able to install without fan controllers or splitters?

The case I have comes with 3 fans (2 x 140mm FRONT) and (1 x 140mm REAR)

I am planning to install (2 x 140mm TOP) and (2 x 120mm BOTTOM)

The fans:
- The 140MM >> https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00F6S0XZI/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_?ie=UTF8&psc=1

- The120MM >> https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00F6S0XJO/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_?ie=UTF8&psc=1

The PSU:

Will it be just okay to connect the 3 included fans directly to the motherboard and connect the other four I am buying to the PSU?

Thanks a lot guys!

Solution
no, you can still control 3PIN fans with your motherboard. that is why I'm recommending connecting them that way.

you have to use your motherboard's suite - fan control options.

get some of these to get more fans connected to your motherboard: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Akasa-AK-CBFA04-15-Splitter-Cable-Fans/dp/B005FWXWPS/ref=pd_bxgy_147_img_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=K11HYF5JN2T55GV5T0C0

if you connect them to your PSU they will be running 100% speed all the time, you won't like it. btw they do not have molex connection so you would also need to purchase that separately, its better to go with the link provided. they are 3PIN connected anyways so no need to worry much about power.

*only 1 splitter per motherboard fan output is recommended.

This is what I had in mind, use your mobos bios fan controller.

Thanks for the information but the fans I have are with 3 pins only not 4. Which means I will not be able to control my fan speed as well so its the same as connecting it to the PSU, full speed I assume?
