even an i7 would be quicker, i have done tests with a 6300 and a G3258 (4.5Ghz) in AVC and the G3258 was almost on par with the 6300 when it came to rendering.
if you can afford it more cores will vastly improve the overall rendering time of your videos

for $500 AUD this is your best option https://www.pccasegear.com/sc/BG6, it will cost you $515.10 with standard shipping and a credit surcharge of 2% (im in aus as well i know the pricing struggle)

that motherboard you, listed is no longer available from CPL, i would recommend anywhere other than there for PC parts in AUS, their service is horrible and they dont update old parts on their site, its a complete mess

doesnt look to bad but the CPU is clocked at 2Ghz, not sure if that would be a limiting factor but i would think something that is 4Ghz with 4c/8t would be coming close to it (dont quote me)

That is a great deal on an Octacore Xeon! :)
They usually go for around $250 USD new, it's a steal at $55.
Note that you'd need an LGA 2011 motherboard, so an x99 would set you back about $200 AUD.
It doesn't matter however if you're getting it at that price, jump on it now. :)
Keep in mind that insanely long shipping time though.

games dont use all that many cores which is why quad core cpus clocked at 3.8+Ghz usually run really well, other than the 2Ghz core speed the xeon seems good
