Hi, I am planning to buy "Western Digital Blue WD20EZRZ 2TB Internal Hard Drive"... my question is, will it work with my DG41RQ motherboard.. also do i need any separate sata cables? which cable is compatible with this drive?
thanks

Solution
Sata cables are Sata cables for the most part. I have had one that say SATA II work just fine with SATA III cables. They are all the same kind of cable.

You will need an extra cable if you don't have one. otherwise SATA is SATA every SATA drive is compatible with all version of SATA (Give some motherboards can't read bigger drives than others) but if you bought a brand new 500GB drive it would work with even the old of sata controllers
