Hey everyone, I built my PC last January with the following stats:

i7-6700k
Asus Maximus VIII Hero Alpha
Evga GTX 970 FTW
16gb Corsair Vengeance DDR4 (2x8)
Corsair HX850i 80+ platinum PSU
SAMSUNG 850 PRO 512GB
WD Black 5TB
X-fi Titanium Sound Card
Windows 10 Professional 64bit

Until August I had zero problems with the system. I began experiencing sudden power-off reboots (like the cord was pulled) while gaming. The event viewer said Kernel Power 41. This was completely sporadic and random, I could go for 5 days of heavy gaming with no issues and then suddenly it would happen again. I've spent countless hours online reading forums and trying to diagnose this problem to no avail.

Today it suddenly became much worse. After booting the PC and browsing the internet for about 10 minutes it powered off and entered a constant reboot loop, not even getting to the bios screen. I had to cut power to the PC to get it to stop, when I eventually attempted to boot it again, it worked and now I am posting from that same computer.

I have no idea what is causing this. My power supply? Please help
