Just wondering how to properly shutdown a pc. I usually unplugged the power chord from the wall outlet after shutting down the pc. Some people prefer to turned off their power supply rather than unplugging their power chord. What do you think is the best / right way to shutting down a pc.

Solution
Assuming this is Windows, power off via Windows. No need to unplug or turn off the PSU.
And really don't do that when the OS is still running.
If you mean to be safe when working inside the PC then power it down via the OS first. Then unplug it from the wall. Switching the PSU off is a bit less safe as you could accidentally hit it back on. It is much more direct effort to plug the cable into a wall outlet once you are done working inside the PC.
