It's in the title, is this mobo+cpu capable of running 3 sticks or DDR3? I'm pushing the limit on the available memory, so I'd like to upgrade a bit (up from 8GB). However, I'm going for Zen or an i5 in about half a year anyway, so I don't feel like spending too much money on it.

The sicks used would be 2+1 Corsair Value Select 4GB (CMV4GX3M1A1600C11)

Yes, but with a mismatch in the number of modules you will be running in single channel mode (reduced performance). Always install memory modules in pairs (or 4 matching modules) to take advantage of the dual memory controllers (and run in dual channel mode). Those Cosair 4GB memory modules are fairly slow being high latency (CL11). For DDR3-1600 modules, look toward standard modules of CL9. FWIW, the AMD AM3+ platform responds well to faster modules like DDR3-2133 or DDR3-2400.
