I am in the process of building another rendering system from an old Server Motherboard (H8DG6-F). Using 2X AMD6272- 2.1ghz -16 Core processors totaling 32 Cores with 64 Gigs of Ram and a AMD Radeon HD 7700 Series video Card (using three displays). I'm wondering how many watts I need to run efficiently. I have two options on my bench, a 500 watt and a 950 watt. Do I really need the 950 in it or will the 500 run it just fine or do I need something more? I'm not sure on the math to determine wattage necessity.
