So I have gigabyte ga-ep41-udl3 motherboard and it supports up to 8gb of ddr2 ram max 1066 mhz..And I had 4 gbs 2x2 2gb ddr2 800mhz..Now I got 1 more stick of 2 gb ddr2 800 mhz and when I put it in it doesn't work I mean my pc runs but black screen or it starts beeping. So I knew prb is ram then I tried removing ram in diffrent slots and then it works monitor is on but after first picture displayed my pc keep restarting...Then I tried just the new ram solo and it works so I knew it's not new ram...So my only thought about this is that my motherboard can't handle more ram?Which is pissing me off I mean if it says up to 8gb even 1066mhz speed and my can't even handle 800mhz...I even tried to rr cmos to put it off on couple minutes but nothing....I have alot of ram by 1x1 gb ddr2 800mhz and ofc doesn't work if I put more than 4gb into my pc....If you came to this part of text thank you for reading all of this pitty text...Help :)

your motherboard has a DualBIOS which means, if your BIOS gets corrupted while updating, the backup bios will automatically flash the corrupted bios back to its original one. No concerns here.

be sure you download the correct BIOS by reading the written Revision of the board. It´s written on the bottom left of the board. Something like rev. 3.3, rev. 1.3, rev. 1.2, rev. 1.0

choose the Revision on this site behind the motherboard´s name:
http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4219#bios
and download the latest BIOS

extract the zipped files to an USB flash drive and reboot your PC. While the PC is displaying the Gigabyte Logo, press the "END" key to enter "Q-Flash". Select the BIOS file there and flash

Are all 4 memory you put in single sided? No memory chips on both sides? Your board can only support if populating all 4 slots needs to be SS - (single sided).

http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3454#sp

Because of Intel chipset limitation, please use single-side memory module if four memory modules are to be installed.

Mixing memory is never a sure thing, can get lucky often not. Keep to the same capacity speed brand voltage etc for best results as the manual recommends.

Can use DS (double sided) memory if only using two sticks, but not 4.

Dual channel slot configuration DDR2_1 and DDR2_3 - for DS or SS memory.

Your board supports upto 8GB so can have 4x2GB (2GB sticks of SS only) or 2x4GB (SS or DS)
This set will work:

Shows you when/where to stick SS/DS memory.

Your board will allow memory capacity of upto 8GB total across all memory slots. So upto you if you want to use 4x 2GB or 2x 4GB albeit using all 4 slots must require SS memory. Just using the two slots DDR2_1 and DDR2_3 for either 2GB or 4GB doesn't matter if it's SS or DS memory. The motherboard is just fussy with 4x DS memory is what im getting at.
