Hello Guys,
This is a brand new system and I know there's (will be) kinks to fix and so on, but this one's infuriating and I'm not one to mess with networks, nor have I ever seen such issue.
So after I shut it down my rig for more than 6-8 hours, my router and/or LAN cant detect each other unless I /flushdns, unplug the router power and restart the PC. I can't seem to find a solution to my specific problem. I have to use a router 'cause for whatever reason, my house hates WiFi and my main modem is too far from my rig, so connecting directly to the main modem is not desirable.
Modem>Router>PC, all physically connected. "Energy efficient ethernet" option is unchecked, other than that, everything is default settings.
-OS
WIN7 Ultimate
-MoBo
ASUS Z170 PRO GAMING + Intel R (2) I219-V
-Router
Dlink DIR-905L
I know my CMOS battery is fine, all settings are what I chose. No spyware or virus on system.
Help is greatly appreciated
