Best gpu for 1080 gaming?

what do you think, i dont have any budget, my top is the 1070.
I have to say i prefer radeon solutions because latest dx12 benchmarks.
But amd does not give any powerfull gpu, dont know if the 480 is really enough for 1080 gaming.

What do you think?

Are we talking 1080p 60fps?
For that I would suggest the GTX 1060, it's the sweet spot for 60Hz 1080p gaming at the moment without spending too much.

Why the 1060 and not the 480?

The 1060 is priced around the same as aftermarket RX 480s, cheaper if you go for the 3GB model which peforms the same.
It performs 10% faster and will be far better optimized compared to the RX 480.

The 4GB RX480 is cheaper than the 1060 and performs similarly, though. 8GB RX 480 is a mistake, IMO. Especially at 1080p
AMD or nVidia, it's a coin toss ^^

Que point of the 480 is the price of the 4gb version.
Its really cheap.

But i see it struggles with some games to get the 60fps, where the 1060 dont D:.

It's not really that, it will perform only a few % worse than a 3GB 1060, but the pricing for 4GB RX 480s is silly in everywhere but Canada from what i've seen, as a 3GB 1060 which will perform the same is cheaper.
