My PC Specs are:
i7-2600k
AsRock Z68 Extreme 3 Gen 3
Thermaltake TR2 700W
2x4 GB G-Skill DDR3 1866Mhz

So yesterday I went out and upgraded my graphics card from a NVIDIA 560 to a Sapphire RX470 Platinum edition (big upgrade, yeah). Well, when I plug it in, the fan on the graphics card turns but there is absolutely no signal on the display.

This is what I have tried and checked so far:
Reseating the graphics card
Checking the power is plugged into the graphics card
Clearing CMOS
Testing it in a friend's setup, in which it works fine
Testing my friend's NVIDIA1060 in my setup, which also works fine (this suggests that my hardware isn't too old to accept the new card)
Inserting my old graphics card back in, where it works fine
Uninstalling all prior drivers and trying it again

I'm sort of stuck here guys, any help would be appreciated :\

Solution

My solution was to RMA it, I fully tested my components and deemed the card to be faulty. I would suggest you do the same if you still can. Have a good day.
