I have an old hp motherboard that I have tried to juice it as much as possible. Some days ago I bought a gtx 1070 but realized that its not compatible with my hp mobo (the gpu only supports UEFI, and my mobo only support Legacy Bios).
Anyways I really want to play with a gtx 1070 even though it will be somehow bottlenecked by the i5 2500. After seeing several benchmarks, a gtx 1070 with that i5 2500 will be more than enough to push modern games maxed at 1080p/60fps, but not at 1440p. Later when I get a better cpu, I will also get a new monitor and move on.
My windows 10 OEM copy is non transferable, so I will either get one key for cheap, or an expensive one that I can transfer from different systems as many times as I want.
With this being said I want to get a cheap micro atx lga 1155 motherboard that has UEFI Bios support, preferably one that has pciex16 3.0, one if possible that has support for sata III so I can finally get an SSD. The RAM Im using is a DDR3 1333, so I just plan to get 8GB extra in order to get 16GB total (I dont need more than this).
Is there a motherboard out there with these features? This will be my first mobo I will buy, so Im clueless about which brands are good (msi, asus, gigabyte, asrock).
Depending on the price, at the end of it all, I mostly need the UEFI Bios support so I can plug my gtx 1070 and be complete as a human being :)

Solution
Considering you're pretty much stuck to finding a used one at this point, I would look for a Z77 board of possible, but any Z68, H77, or B75 board would be fine.

Yeah, used ones are my only option. Z series are for cpu overclocking, and my processor cant do that, so I will get another one. The one I have is an H61.

They also dont support pciex16 3.0 and sata III, so Ill pass on them. The best one would be an H77 like you said. Problem is I cant find a decent one on ebay, craigslist, newegg or tigerdirect :(

That MB looks ok.
Make sure you get a retail version of windows, as another upgrade is surely on your horizon in a couple of years and you don;t want to have to buy another one yet again. Also, it's very much possible there will never be a W11, so you may be getting a lifetime license, so to speak ;)
