Hello everyone,
I'm looking at upgrading the CPU + Motherboard on my PC, I currently have a stock i5-5670k with a generic Z97 mobo. I appreciate this can be overclocked (I've never overclocked before) but I'm in the process of buying my first house so I want to future proof while I still have money.
I've been looking at an i7-6700k and Hero 8 combo on Scan but I always do a PCpartpicker compatibility check whenever I buy something new but my current memory isn't becoming available when I do the build. Could anyone with the motherboard/know a lot about them confirm whether my memory will work or not? Or whether it's just an issue with the site, as I can't see any reason why it wouldn't.
PC Build link: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/dRjshq
Current Memory: Corsair CMY8GX3M2A1866C9 Vengeance Pro Series 16GB (4x4GB) DDR3 1866Mhz CL9 XMP

EDIT: Just spoken to SCAN and they've pointed out I need DDR4 ram, so that's one problem solved. The other issue then is I've just done some quick googling and all I keep reading is issues with booting running certain memory.
Could anyone with the board suggest what they've used and if they had any issues?

Thanks
Warren

Solution
I've used a variety of GSkill TridentZ, RipJaws V, RipJaws 4, Avexir Red Tesla, a few sets ofCorsair Vengeance, and a set of Kingston Predator all with no problems - ranged from 2666 to 3400 and 16 to 64 GB.....Big thing is to make sure you have the latest BIOS

Ah brilliant thanks, I did some searching on here last night and found another post with some suggestions on and I think I'll go with Corsair again.
So basically I need to download the latest BIOS update and install when first built, sounds good to me. Thanks for the help.
