Hey guys,

So my 7 years old cheap laptop is getting slow and laggy when doing everything and takes nearly 10 minutes just to turn on.

Because of this I need a new one soon. I need one for school but I would also like to play some games on it. These games include:

- Skyrim (medium graphics settings at 30fps)
- Garrys mod (Top graphics settings at any fps)
- Medieval 2 and Empire total war (high graphics settings at any fps)
- Counter Strike GO (Medium graphics settings at 60fps)

I am on a budget of £800 and I cant save up more as i need a laptop in the next few weeks for college.

I have been looking myself and all the laptops I find have a GTX 950m whether it is an £500 or £700 laptop. The only thing that really changes as you go up the prices is the CPU and most websites say that the 950m is a bottleneck compared to the CPU in £700 computers. So I would like a laptop on a budget of £800 in the UK that can play those games above and that doesn't have a big bottleneck in its parts.

I also dont mind if there is a small SSD in the laptop but I need a 1TB HDD as I store a lot of stuff on my laptop (my old laptop has like 600GB of stuff on it).

I also need it to have a DVD drive as I have the Elder Scrolls Collection on disk and I like to burn music to keep it safe.

Thanks in advance

p.s. I want to buy one new and not used

This one:

Sadly its £900ish but it comes with an SSD with a 1TB HDD alongside it and you can open it up and put another 4GB in if you want.

Both the Dell I suggested and the Asus weberdarren97 suggested look like good ones.
