Im planning to buy an 1080p 144hz monitor, im gonna have an 60hz 1920 x 1080 and an 144hz 1920 x 1080 connected to the same graphics card. I have already experiencing some lag drops on Battlefield 1 and Gta V. Is it anything i can upgrade in my PC to make it the full experience when it comes to the 144hz?

Before you go and buy my recommended parts, let's make sure that your current CPU and GPU are functioning properly without overheating.

Please download AIDA64 Extreme, drop down the Tools Menu across the top, select System Stability Test, select all options except for Local Disk, run the test for ten minutes. Take a screenshot of the Clocks and Statistics tabs every thirty seconds and save the screenshots immediately.

You will need to upload the screenshots to an image hosting site like Imgur or Google Drive and then you can just copy paste the link into the reply box here on Tom's. If using Google Drive, make sure that Link Sharing is turned on.

Bf one is beta , GTA 5 I'm not sure any CPU on the planet (apart from a massively overclocked skylake i7 maybe) can consecutively push a constant 100fps+

No doubt your rig can hit max fps on 'some' select older titles but on anything current its not going to happen.

you'll never hit 144fps on GTA V on max settings
even with an i7+1080 there will be parts where you will only be getting aroun 65fps

your setup is good, expanding RAM maybe if you're multitasking while gaming
but at this point there's no much that's worth upgrading
