I own a well built computer with an ssd for my system. I own a 4 TB hard drive for games. I also own a 2TB and a 1tb made by sea gate at 7200rpm. I was wondering if you could like the 2 tb and 1 tb to make a 3tb in theory. Any help is much appreciated

Solution
The simplest way to do this is to use Microsoft Storage Spaces which is in Windows 8.1 and 10. You can pool the 2 drives together to make 1 large space.

I am so glad to see storage spaces being suggested! It is making things easier for less advanced users (no offense meant Jonathan).

Storage spaces can also be used to assist with redundancy (storing files on more than one disk to reduce the risk of losing data due to a single drive failing). It is one of the options when you set up storage spaces.
