Wattage wise yes 500 is more than enough, however the CX is low quality and is known for having issues when running high powered GPUs. If you run into stability problems thats the first place I would look.

Yes, I already have the 6350 CPU. Thought it would go into my current MB since it's supposed to be AM3+, yet apparently it's the A version and only the B version was AM3+, so eh whatever. I know the GPU (480) wouldn't go with my current MB.

Cool, Yes, I already have 8gb of DDR3 in my current MB, so I'll just move it on over.

I built this PC in 2010, so with its 1gb VRAM GPU (6950) and an old black quad core, It's definitely time to upgrade. Just a little miffed I have to buy a new MB, but that's why I wanted to go cheap.

So that's the board I'll get, unless anybody has other suggestions.

One last question though, I'll be getting the CPU soon, but the GPU (480) in a month or so. My old 6950 1gb will work with that new MSI MB right? Thansk again, guys.

I'm still tanking with a cx500 Plus Bronze PSU, I know it will handle the new CPU and new MB (with old GPU) combo, but will it handle the RX 480 4gb as well as the new MSI MB and hex CPU?

I figure I'm alright with it since I don't OC, and don't have an SSD and onyl a 1T HD. But want to be sure.
