I am looking for a 1080p gaming monitor with a good response time, about 24", and the best quality possible for udner $200.
There are a lot of options, if IPS gives better clarity then I would like that. I would prefer no freesync of speakers because they tend to drive price up. A simple monitor, with an HDMI, and great quality / response time.

Is there a 60 or 75hz option for that? Also isnt iPS desireable because it makes it cheaper and the colors better?

I've listed both a 60Hz and 144Hz option, not sure what you mean.
IPS is desirable because it costs more to produce than TN, resulting in better viewing angles and more vibrant colors.
TN suffers from what is called 'Gamma Shift' which is essentially color differentiation from top to bottom and side to side resulting in an inaccurate image in terms of color.

A friend of mine has the 144hz monitor you listed. He said the stand is really bad but everything else is great. Just thought I'd put that out there. 144hz is the best decision I've ever made with my computer.

Thanks, I really like the 144hz you mentioned, but is there an option with ips?

No there is not, IPS 144hz monitors are only in the really high end, like $600 range, the $200 area is mainly focused on E-Sports gaming as a pose to casual gaming and single player games.
Although saying this I have an XB271HU and it looks amazing.... guilty! ;)

That's a terrible way to suggest parts need4speeds....
Give some indication of which ones are good like I have above.
I could theoretically just list the entire PC Part Picker list of 144hz monitors and say take your pick, but the poster might select a poor quality panel.
Please refrain from doing this in the future, not very helpful to posters. :(
