Will This Fit in my PC?

I'm going to get this GPU of my friend for free and it is in good shape and working condition. It is the 970 windforce GPu and my PC is the HP Pavilion Elite HPE-190a Desktop PC (Link To The Specs http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c01969877) Will the GPU work with my system?

It has one PCIe x16 slot and if GTX 260 works, 970 will too. Only problem may be PSU that may not have required power connectors and not enough power.

You never said which processor it has, much stronger GPU may not help a lot if processor is weak.

If your pc has the 460w delta manufactured psu in it then it can power a 1060 fine.
To run that windforce 970 you would have to upgrade it because it requires a 6+8 pin connector.
The windforce is also a massive card & I have my doubts about whewther it would fit in your case.

Just get a new case, and if needed PSU too. It is worth it, to get that card for free.

In a standard HP case I'd stick to a single fan blower.
None finer than the evga gaming sc.
