Hi,

I recently completed my new pc, i dont have a GPU yet. But i can atleast use the igpu in my processor. I have been playing a certain game for about a week now, constantly getting between 75 and 110 fps. However, one day i decided to put it in sleep mode bc i was gonna come back in 1h or so, but when i came back it did not want to get back out of sleep mode. So i rebooted the pc and since then it has half the performance. It boots a little slower and the game lost about 50 fps. bringing me to a very sad 25 fps at its lowest. Now, i have been testing my CPU for any reasons why it would behave like this, and i found out that first of all, when i apply force on my 24 pin connector, my pc just says; <language> no im outta here, and it turns off. Also my CPU runs at 0,79GHz no matter what. If i livestream, browse youtube, play game's etc... Since its drop in performance it has just been at that GHz. I asked the company where i bought my PSU for a new one to see if that would solve the problem. I havent sent the one i have right now yet, because i might be able to solve the problem via your suggestions, and i dont want to be without my pc for a week if i dont have to. I have 10 days to send it to them, but maybe some of you have had the same problem and know a solution to this, and then i dont have to send it to them. Who knows.

Anyway thanks in advance

Kind regards,
Joeri Jonker
