Long time spectator, first post. So I've built a PC from a used one I found on CL.. current hardware:

Mobo: msi z97 G5
Cpu: i7 4790k (not oc'd atm) cooler: noctua- nh-d15
Gpu: zotac 1060
Psu: cooler master gx750

My question is, will my current setup run these cpu-heavy games at 1080 without hiccups? Intel XTU stress test for 20 mins has my max cpu temp at 54 degrees..

Solution
Yes, it should run those well at 1080p. However I would look into investing in a better quality PSU the GX series is not good and is a potential danger to the system.

Have any recommendations for a replacement? I'd like to keep around 750-800w

Evga- B2, G2, Gs, GQ, or and of the P and T series
Corsair- RMx, RMi, HX, HXi, AX or AXi
XFX- any except the newer XT series
And pretty much anything Seasonic or Superflower.
Anything 520w or over would be fine even with overclocking, without overclocking you could use a good quality 450w unit.

Thanks for the heads up, I've really grown quite attached to it as I've replaced almost everything myself, I'd hate to lose it due to a psu :p
