mafia 3 ram usage

do you guys think 8gb will be enough for mafia 3? , minimum is 6gb so you will prolly not be able to have anything on in the background while playing :3.

The game is actually pretty open world, so it requiring 6 is very believable.

It's smaller than GTAV which requires 8. so if you have 8 and can run GTAV 5 fine you'll be alright.

it will be more than enough i think they just put high requirements so people would buy new components

im buying 8 more at the end of the month anyways. i usualy have stuff on in the background when i play games.

oh yeah the game runs great for me , it does take up alot of my ram though which sucks. i guess 16gb will soon be the new standard in not too long from now.

Only big open world games approach that ram usage, and open world may be a dying trend soon, since so many people are abusing it to add content to games where really it's just unfocused time wasting.
