So I had an issue with my raid 0 setup with 2 10000 rpm drives and just figured to start over with a fresh install with Windows 10 pro on one drive by its self non raid. Now I'm running in to the issue where I have my windows installed on one drive but can't see the other. So if I try to unplug it Windows won't boot. So what in the world should I try? Or just format the current drive unplug the one not being used then reinstall again?

Solution
Did you undo the raid in your raid manager? it's usually a prompt that comes up after the BIOS and before Windows.
May have to go into the bios and turn off fast boot to see it.

You also have to go into Computer Management > Disk Management and format it / initialize it so it doesn't think it's part of a raid anymore.

The HDD needs to be told specifically to not be a Raid Member Disk to return to normal functioning.
