Corsair Builder 600W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply

Microsoft Windows 8.1 OEM 64-bit

Was looking to play BF1, civ 6 LOL, Warhammer, RAINBOW 6 SIEGE. World of war ships

I was looking to get a 1070. because its only like $50 more then the 970 and double the performance

Any ideas would be great thank you!

WIll my MOBO be able to OC any GPU????

Solution
If you are using 1080p / 144Hz, then the 1070 is probably the better choice in the long run. While a 1060 is capable, that's assuming just today's titles. In 2 years you might just freak out over Witcher 4, or some uber BF1 expansion pack, and the 1060 might just begin to struggle.
As it stands, that gpu, and all top line gpus are pcie 3 capable, but will work fine on pcie 2 boards. Your motherboard is pcie 3, so this'll work fine. The cpu is strong enough to handle that gpu, so there's no stopping you other than budget and brand. My preference for nvidia is Asus, msi, Evga and for amd is msi, Sapphire, Gigabyte. Xfx is good for either.
OC is upto the gpu and software used, there's no restrictions on the higher grade cards. Just user...

Gpu overclocking is (mostly) up to what the card can do. A 1070 is great card, I can play world of tanks, war thunder world of warships and armoured warfare on max settings with a R9 390 and i7 3820. Msi is a good brand Asus too. Just don't get one with a locked voltage (if there is any)

I am very happy with my r9 390 (mine is from gigabyte) ( i got the r9 390 when it first came out and ive never had any issues) and i've never personally owned any msi cards, but my friends have and they never had issues with it and its a good brand in general.

I use a 144 hz monitor but really only do 1080p just want to step up my game with it all and im sure a 1070 would last a few mores years then a 1060 and by that time i would get a new cpu also

All depends on how much you want to spend.

RX 480 will give you plenty of frames for the games you're playing at 1/2 the cost of a 1070.
Personal choice and budget is always what it boils down to.
