My current card if a AMD Radeon R7 200 Series
CPU: amd fx-8350
RAM: 2x 4GB DDR3
Motherboard: GA-78LMT-USB3
Storage: 1TB SATA 7200rpm

Solution
The parts listed above are your current parts? What video card do you currently have?

Your FX8350 is going to seriously bottleneck a 1060. I can't recommend that.

could you maybe recommend a graphics card that would work with my current processor in the same price range a card that is good for games like battlefield 1 and survival games like rust or ark.

as cturbo said check your cpu and gpu usage while playing games. if your gpu is not near 100% load then its not slowing you fps down. also you will need to check your cpu load per a core. because most games are not multi core you can not go by the overall usage. you need to see if you have a core that is reaching hi usage.

Admirable
I have GTX 1060 with my FX 6300 at 4,5 ghz and they are just fine. Yes there are some games where CPU cant deliver desired performance but still they are fine match. You can play most games well above 60 FPS. So far highest bottleneck for me was in Crysis 3 rest are more than playable and well above 60 fps. You have FX 8350 which is stronger CPU and will perform better than my 6300 in Battlefield 1.
