I have a zeon t5500 with r9 290 vapor x and cpu e5649. While playing high games like witcher 3 or gta 5 at 1080p or higher the pc shuts down completely after 5 or 10 mins of gameplay. I have a single cpu and 875 W stock supply. I observed the cpu temp of 50 C and gpu temp of 75 C when the pc shut down. What can be the issue. Please help...

It's 875 W. Is it not enough? It is for two CPU's but I have installed a single one. How can I make sure it is a Psu problem and which Psu should I replace it with? Is it not enough?

r9 290 vapor x requires two 8 pin connectors. i observed that they were connected to two 6 pin connectors coming out of the power supply by means of two 8 to six pin connectors. Can this be the problem? Is it possible that two six pin connectors are not able to provide enough power. My power supply model is h875ef-00. Does it have two 8 pin connectors that can be connected? I viewed t a log report of gpu-z after a shut down of PC. I observed that when the graphic card tried to draw more than 250 watt from the power supply far a while, the PC shut down. In different game it was under 250 and the game didn't boot. i was thinking of installing the power supply of t7500 which is 1100W. Will that help? Will that have two 8 pin connectors to provide the required power? Please provide me with a viable solution. I shall be gratful. I can send you the log file of gpu-z if you want. DVD drive consume about 27 W. Will removing the DVD drive help?
