Hey,

Got a simple question for you folks. I'm an FPS competitive gamer and footsteps as well as other game sounds are very important to me. I also listen to a lot of music/tv shows through my Sennheisers.

I am trying to figure out if I should move the Sound Blaster Z from my previous build into my new build OR use the on board sound on the new mobo. Here is a link to both my soon-to-be new mobo and the existing sound card:

Well for keeping it like I said the headphone amps are better quality and more powerful, and it has some sound features that some games support for positional sound on standard style headphones (like your Seinheisers). If your old rig has onboard sound I don't know that selling it with the sound card would add much to the value anyway.

Thank you for the response.

Once I get all the new parts up and running, I plan to sell my old rig all-in-one. It wouldn't be an issue to sell it with the old rig-- I just need good reasons to keep/sell it. Got any suggestions, and why?
