Hello, I'm looking to upgrade my HD 7870. Here where I live, my only options at the moment are GTX 1060 3 GB for 265$ (235€) and RX 470 4 GB for 250 $ (220 €). According to the benchmarks, I'd rather go for the 1060, but I'm afraid that 3 GB VRAM won't be enough in the long run. On the other hand, I'm afraid that RX 470 won't be that much of an upgrade to HD 7870. The 6GB 1060 and RX 480 4/8 GB cost too much for me here (around 300-350 $).
Do you think I should buy GTX 1060 or RX 470 soon and could you tell me which would be a better upgrade for playing at 1080p and at least high settings for the next let's say 1.5-2 years? Or should I rather wait for prices to drop/new GPUs to kick in?
