[strike]Can't find it, turns out this one driver is the cause of every single problem I've been having (Bluescreens and crashes, which resulted in the death of my 2TB drive) for the past six months or so. Want to disable it, but can't find an option for it in the BIOS.

So, would any of you happen to know where the option is? Thanks![/strike]

Ignore all that, I am dumb and was misinformed.

Still getting BSODS and it's making getting work done really damn difficult. It doesn't even take stress to crash anymore. Just random bluescreens.

This is the crash I got before starting this topic.

Oh it's definitely the cause of my problems. The driver for it keeps causing bluescreens and I finally got one that stayed up long enough to write a crash dump. Got a 0x3b code and it specified ntoskrnl.exe. There's supposed to be a hotfix for it, but for some reason it's unavailable for my system.

Thank you! I'll look for the chipset section.

Board does not have firewire, I'm just dumb.

Something is causing a 0x3b BSOD, but I can't find out what. The driver responsible is ntoskrnl.exe.

It's a completely fresh install. It was doing this on my old install too, but I literally installed this OS yesterday.

Update, by the way. It crashed while I was trying to find more info on the 0x3b crash.

Hello... 3) Can you post an IMG of your Control Panel-Device manager, are there any RED or yellow marks for any hardware devices there?
4) Is this happening after the fresh install?
5) Is this happening after Fresh install, and MB driver installs?
6) Is this happening after Fresh install, MB driver installs, and Window updates?

Hello... THx B )
7) What are you using for memory sticks?

8) Here is the Windows event debug screen... We need to solve the APPs, then Windows file errors first in that order... if they are all Kernel 41 errors then we need to find the hardware device or devices causing a Power/Communications problem/loss. AND You NEED to be logged on as administrator to the OS...

Let's see what the OS is reporting as the error... Right click computer-manage-System Tools-Event Viewer-Windows logs-System.... Click on the "RED" errors, for more information, General/Details... and files/drivers/Apps, comments/suggestions/information associated with them B )

Expanding Window panes and Posting screen images from here will help me B )

10) Are you Overclocking anything?

7: The 8GB is a G Skill Ripjaws 1333 DDR3, the 4GB is Adata 1333 DDR3. I don't run them together, as only the one closest or in bay 1 is usable anyway. It detects the other one, but can't use it because they're two different sticks. So I only run the 8GB.

10: I've overclocked the graphics card before, but that was a couple years ago I think. Haven't overclocked anything since.

8: I'm having trouble getting the machine to boot, so I probably won't be able to update with this info until tomorrow.
